A Snowy Morning Hike

This shot of three hooded mergansers was taken with the Nikon Z8 and Nikkor 180-600mm. I had gone out this morning in search of a certain bald eagle I had seen the previous day. It was snowing too much to stay out for very long, but did at least manage to get this shot of hooded mergansers near this snow covered boulder. I fell twice on the way back to the truck so I’m going to have to hang this one on the wall.
